This story was really well thought out and very descriptive, which pulled you into the imaginary World of Dowler and the castle beyond. Mixing the fairytale of the Pied Piper was a clever touch. The story gives a satisfying and complete ending. The only thing that would have made it a tiny bit better would be to have more information on Oren's Origin story, but overall, it was a really nice story.

Tanith has no idea what she's in for when she plans on robbing a graveyard. But she ends up disturbing so much more, and awakening more than just a a myth. Upon awakening what the city believes to be the devil himself, the Piper, she's drawn into Oren's plans of revenge against her uncle. But more than a centuries old revenge lies in wait for the two of them.
Really enjoyed this story and the characters involved! There were some areas I felt could go a little deeper, like the uncle’s perspective for instance or various other characters, but honestly that’s just a personal knit pick, because the story was lovely regardless. Thanks for a touch of magic, erotic romance, and melanated wonder 💛
